Homemade Chermoula Recipe Fresh, Flavorful and Easy

Chermoula is the kind of sauce that transforms anything it touches. a spoonful brings a dish to life with its intense herbaceousness, smoky undertones, and subtle heat. Originating from North Africa, this vibrant green condiment is traditionally spooned over fish or vegetables, but it’s equally at home swirled into grain bowls, drizzled over roasted sweet potatoes, or stirred through chickpeas. Nutritionally, this chermoula is a powerhouse: coriander and parsley are both rich in vitamin K and potent antioxidants, olive oil provides heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, and cumin delivers not just a deep warmth but also digestion-supporting properties. There's even a whisper of chilli for metabolism-boosting heat. It’s gluten-free, vegan, and naturally dairy-free, and a smart way to add layers of flavour.
