Pumpkin Seed Pesto

A bright, nutty twist on classic pesto that sings with vibrant green tones and earthy, yet fresh personality. Use it to brighten pasta, roasted veggies or stirred into soups. Aside from healthy fats, this pesto is gluten‑ and dairy‑free, and packed with plant‑based protein. This recipe calls for pumpkin seeds, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand! We’ve tested it with sunflower seeds and walnuts as well which worked brilliantly.

  • 50g roasted pumpkin seeds
  • 50g pine nuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 20 g fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 5 tbsp water
